StriVectin Skincare Products – Successful Or Deceiving?

StriVectin Skincare Products – Successful Or Deceiving?

StriVectin® Overview

The product line includes Deep Wrinkle Serum, Eye Cream, Neck Cream, Wrinkle Filler, Facial Sculpting Cream, Hand Care, and Dermal Defense in addition to the original formula. The products might be similarly formulated, but they also work as a nice arsenal against skin problems. The original formula still seems to be the flagship of the company, which is enjoying its profitable mistake all the way to the bank.

Ingredients at a Glance

Klein-Becker does not disclose its products’ ingredients information. We were forced to turn to outside sources for ingredients information. Klein-Becker only emphasizes the key ingredient: Pal-KTTKS. In other words, there’s a lot consumers don’t know about StriVectin®.

Ingredients in Focus

Pal-KTTKS, or palmitoyl-pentapeptide 3, is an oligo-peptide found to be useful for eliminating wrinkles. It is also said to boost collagen while promoting glycosaminoglycans and increasing fibronectin production in the skin. All three of these substances are typically associated with increased elasticity and enhanced smoothness in the skin, contributing to a more youthful appearance.

Pal-KTTKS might thus contribute significantly to improved skin tone, reduced dark circles about the eyes, and the decreased visibility of age spots. It is even said to work 1.5 times faster than the popular anti-aging ingredient, Retinol. StriVectin® contains many other ingredients, including Siegesbeckia Orientalis Extract, another popular anti-aging ingredient.

Positives

– Informative website, to a point.

– Interesting formula.

Negatives

– Does not appear to contain Hyaluronic Acid, Argireline or Matrixyl 3000.

– Products might be too similarly formulated.

– Extremely expensive.

Final Thoughts

Though StriVectin® is not as invasive as some procedures, and not as gimmicky as some products, it is still a costly option promoted by a website that is only so helpful. We’d recommend shopping for products more fairly priced. If they contain Hyaluronic Acid, Argireline or Matrixyl 3000, all the better. In short, $130 plus is quite a bit of money to spend on fighting the inevitable, unavoidable, and permanent signs of aging.
